4, 5 & 6 digit - I might be done for awhile

Post by rockmastermike » Sun Mar 31, 2019 5:57 am

Okay, who am I kidding, I’m never done but these might last more than a few weeks.

Combination of date/no date, Tritium, SL and Chromalight, engraved rehaut/OG rehaut, maxi dial, original dial, Jubilee and Oyster, SEL and rattle traps, cyclops and no cyclops.....

That’s a very nice set and easily could see being “done” with those. Each provides something unique. Well done! That Datejust is cool.

I’m struggling with being satisfied right now as I have a 16710, 16600, and the 126660. I really want a Red 1680 but I ran out of units of unobtanium.

Hmm first time I've ever had the urge to buy a Datejust. Maybe I'm finally being assimilated.

Thank you - this (and my Seiko 7546) are the output of my Q1 consolidation.

The DJ gets the most wrist time but that might change moving into summer and each has its own personality and brings something different to the table (wrist)

Thanks - I’d could probably delete WatchRecon but I can’t just yet.

The blue dial on that datejust is fantastic, particularly for a vintage.

It has aged into sort of a “blurple” type color and changes to different shades and hues of blues depending on light or position - it’s really special, imho and I love wearing it.

You’re missing the 1, 2, and 3 digit watches.

Beautiful. I get the might be done for a while thing. I've cooled way off and am not as active on forums as of late. More focused in my drums. I'm content w my collection for now.
