Mühle Sea-Timer BlackMotion

Post by spring-diver » Thu Mar 14, 2019 7:45 pm

I saw this on the Basel preview page at WUS.

I like itImage

SW200 regulated in 6 positions
44mm wide x 12.5mm thick. I’m not sure of L2L

The strap reminds me of the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot

I’ve been wanting a black watch for a while now, maybe this will be it?

Any thoughts on Mühle as a brand. I know nothing of them.

Cheers

I’ve always wanted to try one of these, but the L2L kills it for my smallish wrist. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the brand.

Muhle makes a great watch but as Chris pointed out when I shared this on my page; the name is kinda ridiculous and that font for the text lazy and awful.

Agreed! That’s the only thing that I would change on it.

Oh nice Shannon ! 8-) Haven't seen a tactical-like MG before I don't think.
Looks terrific really, and even the strap fits in perfectly, and adds personality.

Thanks very much for the news !!!

Dreadful dial text. Cheapens thelook of an otherwise decent looker

That dial font is tragic. Great looking watch otherwise.

I've got to believe that rendering is really poor. It doesn't even look like that text is on the dial, it looks like it's been overlayed on top of the image after the fact. Hoping it looks much better in reality, as it is an otherwise nice looking watch.

Hence why I wrote copy + paste. Really does look that way

Simply leaving off that lower text (Sea Timer Blackmotion) would make me want this watch.

Even with that awful text removed, the date a 4 o clock kills it for me.

I’m sure they don’t care, but I sent the suggestion to leave off this ugly text via their website contact form.

Mühle Sea-Timer BlackMotion

Post by CGSshorty » Fri Mar 22, 2019 12:17 pm

I couldn’t wear a watch with “BlackMotion” on the dial. It sounds like a hip hop dance group you’d see on America’s Got Talent.
