Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Ablogtowatch just posted a new model
42mm 20mm lugs 300M WR, screw down crowns (tsk tsk Zhe Zhe)
I think I'm in if the price is right

Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
I really like this. That's it I'm sure the MSRP is going to be something way beyond what I feel is reasonable for it.
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Love it.
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Haven't read them. So what's the price then? 3k?
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Oh it's already on Bremont site $3695

My favorite of the bunch as well.
I’d get one at 30%

Sorry must have missed it as I don't follow hodikeelogan2z wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 8:08 amHodinkee scooped them a couple of weeks ago:

They showed these 2 models on IG which I have -1 interest in
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Funny, this was my least favorite of the three, but it's really growing on me. It was definitely the most popular around the Townhouse though.
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
It’s nice, but I just don’t get internal bezels on “diving” watches.

Love those Art ! They have the whole dual crown compressor case thing
happening, and than are extra chunky, and modernized in the coolest ways. So nice !
Thanks a lot Art !!!

I’d like it better if the hour and minute hands were both either white or brushed, rather than one black and one orange.

Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Not a fan of the orange minute hand, otherwise I really like it
Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Unscrewing and turning a crown to set the bezel, then having to screw it back down. Im assuming this is done right before jumping in the water.
I don’t dive (hardly ever), but even if if I’m timing a steak on the grill it’s easier to rotate the bezel with my fingers as opposed to having to deal with a crown

Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
Most internal bezels I have used are fine underwater to at least 50m. The Halios Laguna was rated for underwater use to 75m. The bezel crown on the Laguna wasn't screw-down....not sure about this one.Chocodove wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 5:01 pmUnscrewing and turning a crown to set the bezel, then having to screw it back down. Re: Speaking of Bremont - Argonaut
The crowns look enormous to me possibly as there is no crown guard
