I love this model, but the price on bracelet is crazy.
I've never understood Omega's obscene pricing structure for titanium and precious metals. It's a shame, because some of their most interesting stuff really mixes it up, like the tantalum/RG Diver 300 or the titanium/RG Seamaster 300. :crybaby:

Omega watches in precious metals tank spectacularly on the second-hand market though, so they usually represent pretty good bargains relatively. You just have to wait for the first sucker to buy the watch you want and get tired of it.

Yup, RG bezel, crown and handset (that's oddly my favorite detail – no white seconds hand), and an SS case and ceramic insert. Tone of the gold matches the cream indexes perfectly, now I just need a good black 21mm rubber strap...

no comparison given all the technical developments the extreme lab represents, but the LW is at least interesting to look at to check the time
thought extlab never needed service because of the near frictionless operation? preemptive, or??
did you service your others? i've been told it's quite reasonable, given the number of complications and complexity of the total package

This one was kinda abused by the previous owner, so it definitely needed a full service. In addition, crystal was scratched, etc... all-in-all, the estimate for the service and parts replacement was about $2k and 11 weeks turnaround, which is really not all that bad considering the level of effort and expertise that is likely involved.

That's actually astonishingly cheap for a JLC service – especially at that level.

(Love the RG Linde Werdelin that just popped up – easily one of my favorite cases out there.)

Surprisingly reasonable and quick. Can they do the work in the USA?

Nope, this one needed to go to Switzerland, but they took care of the international shipping. I only had to ship it to TX.

We’ll see how close to the timeline estimates they actually land, but the responsiveness up to this point has been a pleasant surprise.

Just saw this one posted on Instagram. I'd definitely take this over the stainless steel.
