I just got one in, I really like it. It is way better than the OEM version.

Got mine last week and it's a great strap, and have had it on since Friday. Both shorter and softer than the OEM Z22 flat vent. I like the fact the keeper is thinner also. He's even releasing a shorter version in January which would be a positive for me on watches with longer lug to lugs.

Sounds great, I will definitely get the shorter version.

Great strap by Larry. Works well on my 6306. Super comfy and well executed.

Great straps for sure. For some reason though, I just can't get past the "Uncle" branding stamped on them.

He makes great stuff. I just ordered the Z199 bracelet this weekend and was very tempted to get this as well. Have his tropic, waffle, and Hershey bar straps already.

I like the GL better than the tropic and waffle straps.

What’s the difference between this one and the JDM DAL1BP Flat Vent?

I don't know I don't have one to compare it too  . I do have a stock flat vent on my SKX173 and this one feels a whole lot softer.

In the pic I posted above the Uncle Seiko is the top strap. It is shorter.

I’m DEf getting one of these. I love my BC but I’m a big fan of uncles products.

Prob with the older Seiko rubber straps is that they come stiff as Hoppy at a Vegas male review.

His Z199 bracelet is one of my favorite bracelets- ever. Great vintage feel but feels quality.

I haven't tried the UncleSeiko strap but it is nice to know that you can still buy a factory Seiko flat vent that is softer than the "normal" flat vent. I wore the DAL1BP for years and it was the most comfortable Seiko strap I owned.

Maybe mine is an actual Seiko then? It came with one of my watches bought used so I dont know. But it does have a vanilla smell so prob BC.

Seiko doesn't have that smell. So I think it is a BC strap
