Inside the Tudor Factory
Inside the Tudor Factory
Been posted at a few other forums, but I thought worth a repost here. It sounds as if it is basically one factory with a Rolex side and Tudor side and some shared resources, but mostly separate manufacturing. I always wondered exactly how that worked. Also interesting that every watch gets a WR test before packaging:

Very cool Nick, thanks for posting.

Re: Inside the Tudor Factory
While the article was mostly superficial, there were a couple of interesting takeaways. It stated that Tudor (and I assume Rolex) do not keep any inventory. Everything is always made to order. Also the bit about the custom weaving of the Tudor straps in France helps explain the price and why none of the Asian sources can replicate the weave.

Re: Inside the Tudor Factory
Thanks for that! I think that the MKII factory would look and operate very similar to this...

Man oh man, would be something to visit, or tour here too Nick !
Would honestly spend all day there, and then have to come back the
next day, and day after that !!! ..Tudor, and Rolex are amazing to
me, and seem even more impressive after seeing this.
So cool of you to post about ! Thanks a lot !!!
