Blue Pelagos LE

Post by Joeprez » Mon Oct 15, 2018 11:33 am

I know Sinn does this, but it's the first time I see it for a bigger brand:

Image

The "San Juan Yatch Club" Tudor Pelagos LE of 65 pieces. I do believe Kury is the only Tudor AD in Puerto Rico and they also carry Rolex, Oris, Hublot, Breitling and next month they'll start with Cartier. I wonder what kind of commitment was necessary for that LE.

Anyone else has seen regional Tudor LE's?

The bronze Bucherer BB (BBBB?) was also an LE.

I don't know what to say. If you are a die hard sailfin fisherman, then maybe.......I'll let this one marinate a little.

There will be other LEs from the same dealer. They bought the whole sheet.

I have one of those and they aren't LE (not limited in number) but limited in distribution through Bucherer only.

I was in my local Tudor AD last week and they told me that Tudor will customize dials (and do custom case back engraving) on any of it's watches if you'll guarantee a minimum purchase of 40 watches.

DWC group buy of 40 of the two-line Pelagos? :)

I honestly want to know how much it takes to make something like that.

The San Juan Yatch Club is very exclusive and the best fishing tournaments are there. Definitely the kind of people who can make it happen.

The AD I spoke to told me that it actually doesn't cost that much to have the dial customized if you order 40 pieces, but I didn't get into specifics.
