I love this. A 16710 Pepsi will be my next watch even if I have to sell a kid or body part to get it.goaliechris wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:13 am

Thank you. I highly recommend it. To me, it’s the perfect “one watch”. Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m done (much to my wife’s constant bewilderment and anger).bpax wrote:I love this. Just received my PeltonWatch Sector with silver dial. I’m gonna have to do a mini review on this soon. It’s really awesome. Can’t believe how great a job they did with their first in house case can’t wait to see their new Genta inspired watch.

Yeah, as it's meant to be! That makes time change so difficult on a watch where it's supposed to be easy! Sounds like an ETA 2893 is the right fit for you.Ryeguy wrote:Oh - kind of the opposite of how I use my GMT watches - GMT hand is my home or “constant” and the main hands are my “local” reference.goaliechris wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 3:12 pmLive in Ohio so I leave the hour and minute hand set on my home time and then the gmt hand on the time where I am.Ryeguy wrote:3 hours ahead while in SFO? This is sharp! Hadn't heard of them before now. Reminds me of the JLC Master Control, but much more affordable.

Are these even released yet? I saw on the site they are preorder?
Expensive for a brand new micro brand...damn....Looks really nice though. I kinds dig their AP ripoff. The one you got is straight up beautiful.
Re: WRUW 15 Aug 18
Correct me if I'm wrong...but my understanding is if RSC ever services this watch, the crystal would be replaced again with a standard one w/cyclops.
Still undecided on the GMT II...most probably I will pass on all iterations.
This Rolex shortage really hampers my style: the sensible me knows with the premium on Rolex now...wants nothing to do with them while the collector me whispers in my ear to give it a go.
Re: WRUW 15 Aug 18
No need for RSC to service this watch. Tons of other folks who can handle a 3185
Re: WRUW 15 Aug 18
With the ceramics, you have to swap the crystal. With the pre-ceramics, you can just lop it off. Sometimes you can heat it and slide it off with a razor or something. Or you can just knock it off with something like a small chisel.
Ramsy actually did this one.
