I need another 116600 :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Why'd I sell my three.. or four...
Because you, like the rest of us, didn’t think Rolex prices were going to rise so fast that they left their own vapor trail.

That’s actually why I’d caution against flipping the BLNR. There’s no guaranty that you’ll be able to get another without a signicant additional cash outlay.

Yeah but it's an in-production piece. Paying above MSRP (more than a touch) is just silly IMO and I wouldn't do it. I got my Hulk from the local AD at MSRP by just putting my name down, got one the next day. Plus, I'm planning on getting a Pepsi when I can and probably wouldn't want both.

I have a feeling at some point these will become more readily available. Or if not, I just don't get another one.

I’ve had the SS diver, and sourced a bracelet for it. It is INCREDIBLE on the bracelet, albeit a tad heavy. I’ll definitely pick one up again, probably my favorite watch I’ve owned outside Rolex.
And I’m slowly getting turned off by the whole “Rolex new model shortage from jump street, so if you want it you pay $10k over retail” thing they’ve been doing. $22k for a SS Daytona? F@ck off.

Some of the newcomers with deep pockets don’t seem to mind. Even some of the deep pocketed watch hobby old timers are turning up their noses but some are still willing to pay.

For awhile I kicked myself looking back on all the Rolex I’ve flipped but now I’m at the stage of not caring while enjoying the current state of my collection. For me the perceived value of Rolex is long gone now and I don’t care to ever go back. My wife is the only one who has a Rolex now.

I mean if you can afford it and it doesn’t matter, more power to you. But the fact that it’s the norm and accepted by Rolex is just annoying. I understand there’s a certain supply/demand and forced demand, but wait lists of YEARS for basic SS models is just unacceptable to me. I’ll gladly pay retail for a new, popular model. But come on, lol. “I can’t wait till I wear this watch 5 years from now..” but then again, who gives a shit what I think

David actually just got in a 15703 and I'm getting that from him. It's 1/2 the cost of the FC. Plus, I intend to wear this/the FC and it seemed silly to buy a NOS/collectible example if I'm going to take stickers off it.

Now if someone would buy some of my other stuff I can also grab a Bluesy I want from him...

Congrats! I am on my fourth steel AP diver, but this one will stick with prices continuing to go up. Great time to take the plunge.

Thanks. I really wanted to do the FC but that’s a ton to pour into one piece. It was either flip the BLNR, Spectre and DSOTM plus cash for the FC or just do the BLNR and a little cash for this.

All these are outta my league. I think Adam has the carbon one.

If I were a baller, a shot-caller, or a little bit taller....I’d go stainless blue dial all day long.

Congrats. Out of my league, too, but the SS diver is in my short list for when I hit Lotto.

I really don't like the Off-Shore models of the Royal Oak. They just look... immature? I don't know, too bulky, plus going for the cliche 10 o'clock crown to look "different". Nah, miss me with dat' gay shiz BRUH.

I believe many of us are also confused by Hans.

We still haven’t heard what he did with Franz.
