Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!
Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!
So I wanted to do something for the ocean. Looked at BP Ocean Commitment 3 and it's a too small for me since it's the same case as the creamsicle edition I've tried on before. Kept on googling and reading, and then I stumbled on this article and immediately ordered one for myself.

Very excited, it's on a truck for delivery at the moment but I will definitely post more pics when it lands on my wrist this afternoon
A pic from the article for now

Brice what's up with the finish on the minute hand? Looks like galvanized or partially corroded steel or something?

Re: Incoming! Banzai! Seiko!
Definitely the best Turtle I've ever had on my wrist.
The dial is just stunning in person. The ocean waves reminiscent of PP Nautilus but in a random order just like the waves and d-blue style gradient dial is extremely well done contrasting beautiful coarse brushed hands that remind me of coarse brushing on the older Rolex lugs.
Just an outstanding overall package. Everything lines up, the crown is very smooth for a Seiko

Congrats, I like that one a lot. I’ve sworn off NAFT’s since they just don’t work for my wrist...but that one may make me rethink it.

I only have the modern ones currently, but I would count the originals if I still had any.gonzomantis wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 8:45 amWhat are your criteria for counting turtles? SRPXXX models only, or inclusive of originals? I've got a herd, and this one is tempting me too.
