Re: WRUW 9 June 18
I picked up an Uncle Seiko Tropic strap for my Seiko from Brian, but decided to give it a go on some other watches first.
I like the look and the finish, matte, but not dead-flat.
However, I'm disappointed that the buckle sits up off the wrist (this has been noted in some reviews of the strap).
Maybe this will improve over time as the strap loosens up.
I'll look in the box for a replacement buckle that works better.
In case I can't find anything, anyone know a source for a new buckle?

Started with the Farer Pointing II LE this morning then stopped by the AD and picked up a Junghans I’ve been wanting to try for some time

I really like the feel of the US Tropic, especially once you boil it. That gap at the buckle stinks, though.mattcantwin wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 8:18 amHowever, I'm disappointed that the buckle sits up off the wrist (this has been noted in some reviews of the strap).

Thanks man. Love our mtn weekends. Although the elevation reminds me I’ve become a fat bastard, but I’m working in that this summer.jeckyll wrote:Awesome watch and that looks like a great time!BacoNoir wrote:Out for a ride with the wife
