A bike is much easier on my knees than running.
Don’t suggest walking as a substitute. That’s just dreadful.
Chris, I have a bad knee also, so I can't run. If you ever get bored of the bike, an elliptical is easy on the joints too. I vary between the elliptical, bike, and walking. I don't think I'd ever walk in Florida though.

We had an elliptical in NY. I got bored of it very quickly.
