New Moonphase Speedy

Post by sierra11b » Sun May 27, 2018 10:55 am

Anyone try one on yet?

Trying to convince myself to consolidate in order to get one on bracelet but I'm guessing it's a monster on the wrist.

I was thinking the same thing. 44, wish it was 42...

I tried on the speedmaster racing co-ax this past weekend. Its in the same 44mm case i believe. The diameter of the watch wasn't a problem for me - I have a 7" wrist. While it was large, it was not stupid large. The new endlink design helps a lot if you go for the bracelet.

The thickness is a bit much though. On the wrist, it doesn't seem too bad - but man, when you hold it up and just look at the profile - it looks crazy thick. And I think the moonphase is even thicker than the racing. I suggest you check it out in person.

I still really like the black and orange on the leather deployment. - I just wish it was 2mm thinner.

Omega doesn't sell a watch that wouldn't benefit from being 2mm thinner. Only the Speedy Pro is OK.
