Orion Calamity pre-order

Post by Chocodove » Sat Feb 10, 2018 5:15 pm

I could do without the orange on the second hand. Other than that, not horrible. I kinda like that burly crown. Not for $1.5k though.

Edit: though what’s up with the dual triangles on the bezel.

I just read that Orion Calamity and Dufresne Barton Springs will be a in romcom based on a distant satellite, many light years from the sun. The ship is in a declining orbit and the pair discover love as they work to save the mission.

Yet another micro 'diver-styled' sports watch a half-arsed dive bezel. Meh.

The name seems fitting. Not sure what the bezel pip is supposed to be, but it looks like a 90’s windows icon.

Reminds me of a nail salon which used to reside in my nearby strip mall called "Notorious Nails"

Oh, and you're going to cut off your fingers cutting asparagus like that.

I've never even heard of "Orion" until today, but I can see the demise from here...

For the owner of a brand to not care about the negative comments along with the positive shows a lack of actual commitment to the brand you're building. To me, it goes right with the micro cliche of "1) throw something at the wall, 2) see what sticks, 3) turn a quick profit, 4) on to the next thing". There are exceptions to the rule, but this doesn't appear to be one of them.

These negative comments are bandwagon-y and non constructive and aren't worth my time. If people want to be constructive, respectful and mindful of the human on the other side then I will engage. People saying nasty things without anything constructive or critical isn't worth my time. And I'm an exception to your goofy rules, if you took a little time to research anything about me it should be pretty clear. But no, you'd rather get in on the bandwagon of calling names. So again, keep it up guys, meanwhile I'll be making a 10.5mm thick dive watch, which isn't something you come up with when you're "trying to get something to stick to the wall" or "turn a quick profit". Those things look like mindless Submariner homages.

Don't presume to know me and spout your little bit without even doing your homework. Seriously, can anyone answer why you guys are so quick to hate and negative judgement?

If you want a "hairy-fairy", fan-boi following, go to WUS and pitch your latest greatest...it's like a bunch of zombies, thinking they might get a free watch.

If you want the blunt, honest truth, then you are in the right place.

Good luck.

Not worth your time, yet you show up here, sign up under your brand, just to make a post about “haters”.

It was obviously worth your time, as you made it a point to come here and engage.

The reality is, it’s a watch, and the guys don’t care for it. These guys are blunt, but honest and if they liked it, regardless of the brand or who was behind it, they say so.

If I want the truth I'll get it from people who know me and my product, not some keyboard jockeys who think they know me, my product and my goals after 15 seconds. That wont come from you here or from WUS.

Whatever guys, I'm here as someone with a unique experience and set of skill. Also on the inside of the industry but you'd rather lecture me and post jabs at my company and character.
