Just survived a tough week, so need a new Seiko? Here's what I'm looking at. What would you buy following a sh..ty week?

Congratulations on your new Seiko

Everyone’s pictures & reviews are wearing me down but I’m trying to wait on the price to drop a little more on the SLA017.

Indeed. I need to see it in person.

Maybe a good idea to do an introduction post first when joining DWC...

Well, see below link to an intro thread from another new member...is standard procedure around here. Also, please feel free to post pictures of your girlfriend as some members insist on this.

The SPB051 I picked up a few weeks has me content. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about the SLA017 or the upcoming SLA025. But I'm trying to keep my eye on the (Explorer) prize.

If you are going to hang around, post an intro thread, with pics (for Joe).

Yes very nice. I would like one of these, but they're still a little pricey at $900+.... and I have 3 NAFTs already.

PERFECT! Haven't tried that one. Usually have Glenlivet. Sales of Glenlivet have gone up over the last two years and my wife says it's due to me.

Thanks for the etiquette pointer.

My name is Terry and I bought my first Seiko diver's in 1992 (see pic), which I still own. Used to go snorkeling in the Mediterranean with it. I have acquired quite a few Seiko's over the years with latest being some NAFT's and a couple of Samurai's.

Been following the posts on DWC for a couple of months now, and following a long week ... and some single malt ... felt ready to post.

Thanks for all of the great info I have read here! ;)

I’d like one if the black ones, the auto.
Someone post up when they’re available for a decent price!

I’d like a Shogun but I have five Seikos (three divers) and other targets right now.

For the first time in a long time I have no Seiko divers and haven’t decided on another yet.
