Why “5”?

Who gives a shit. If ruins most modern Seiko dial... oh no wait that’s the “X”

I’m waiting the next letter variant. We can’t be far off from the X PADI LBGT.

Nope.

on a serious note that's a cool watch, wonder if you can just scrape off 5
IIRC the applied logo has two feet that go into corresponding holes in the dial. So, you can remove it, but you'll be left with two small holes in the dial. I guess you could fill them with lume.

Hmm they're serious about 5, drill the dial for the logo...

It doesn’t really bother me that much on some of the models. Now, if it was a 4...well!!

Man this Scotty guy really pisses me off... he totally wasted his Ban.
He knew he was cruising for one. So what’s he do? Say something dumb to get banned.
A multi-banned vet would have done some google image searching of #veinydicks and power posted the shit out of the place before the hammer came down.

The five badge doesn’t really bother me. I recently bought an SRP731K1 for $125 and it’s a ton of watch for the money with a fantastic blue dial, but I sold it to a friend for what it’s worth.

NOW the Seiko 5 badge on a vintage SpeedTimer is totally different imho... Like on an all original 6138 Kakume.
