This plus listening to music without the phone.Grahamcombat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2018 1:58 pmI’m looking at it as a way to 1) maintain immediate comms and 2) get off of my phone.

Yeah, I’d have to get used to that. Only time I listen, typically, is while I’m in the air but it’d still be nice to not have to use my phone to do it.

Had one. Didn't like to wear it. Chris Tucker has mine now. I liked it in theory, but I couldn't wear it along with a watch.
I wear a Misfit Ray with notifications enabled and that's a good compromise for me.

They’re just a short cut to my phone which is within a 50 ft radius of me most times. I’ve never been interested

Had the series 3 LTE since it came out. Really like it. Now it acts as a BU Phone as its completely independent. I teach a great deal so keeping track on comms without checking the phone is great. I have a bunch of my own pre canned text responses which are a huge time saver with my endless work texts. The "Now playing" music feature is awesome especially when running. Plus the great Starbucks and Apple pay app mean i don't ever need to dig for the phone or wallet. Its really a mini iPhone and comms device rather that a watch. Mine is armored up for work.

Made a quick trip to the AT&T store today...
Wore the apple watch on my right wrist the whole day, very comfortable.

Yeah, more notifications....that's what my life needs.HapaHapa wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2018 9:57 amI still don't get smart watches. There's enough distraction already. I don't want to know when I get an email. The phone telling me I've got a text or meeting is enough. Don't need to know how many steps I've taken or aboit my sleep cycle. I know if I worked out or slept.
Less gadgets. More trees and rocks and breezes.

If I don't want notifications I just silence the device. I'm wearing it right now around the house and my phone is in my room. Digging it.
