New Omega Seamaster Olympic Collection

Post by rockmastermike » Fri Jan 12, 2018 4:58 pm

From Fratello watches:

"All watches are equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8800 movement. A case size of 39,5mm makes this a perfect watch for basically every wrist size."

As far as stupid omega LEs go, the black one isn't bad. They place the date aperture in the perfect spot to ape the rest of the numbers seemlessly, then used a black on white date wheel. Omega can't get out of their own way!

I consider myself a big fan of Omega, but its not an easy endeavor.

If they had made an internal bezel, I might have like it. And the white wheel date cheapens the watch.

No. And the hour hand’s too long and the minute hand too short.

Reminds me of the Chronoris, which I’d rather have. Same size as well I believe.

I like the yellow and would like to see the blue IRL to decide on the color.

yeah - wonder what the lug width is. The black would look great on my speedmaster.

You would think that a watch celebrating Omegas history timing the olympics would have some sort of timer. A modern chronostop would have been far more interesting.
