These replica assholes....

Post by hoppyjr » Sat Jan 13, 2018 10:29 pm

...really piss me off!

I searched “PAM 682 nato” and started clicking on links. I wanted to see if anyone has tried a nato or Zulu on this smaller model. As I’m clicking on the first few links, end up on some shitbird rep review site where they simply took the HODINKEE review and photo, but inserted “replica” into several sentences.

Not only should we all hate the “rep” community, we should instantly ban any fucka who we find around here that owns one.

I will take and post a couple today, but it works really well on nato with the 22mm lugs and wide gap between the pin and case. I tend to wear natos on my lighter watches so my 682 has stayed on canvas and rubber most of the time.

I had a guy at the local AD say the 682 is tiny, I don't think so.

I appreciate that, but having just noticed the weight I don’t think it would work well (but it looks great).

If you could, maybe come comparison shots with a couple known watches, as that would help too. Thanks!

I did see one in person, but it was very quickly and I tried on with rubber. It looked small like a ladies watch on my larger wrist, which is why I was thinking it may work on nato or Zulu straps, but the weight may make it not suitable for that.

Just posted some comparisons in the PAM thread on the 682! I included the Sub No Date, JLC NS Auto, and Sinn EZM 1:1, which is the same weight as the 682.

That does look great. Toxicnato made that Panerai stand out from all other Panerais.

Since I can’t really do leather or rubber, a Panerai on nato is about the only way I can do Panerai.

JFC. Strictly AD purchases for Rolex sound pretty good after seeing shit like this.
