I owned the Diver version almost 10 years ago and liked it, but always yearned for a black bezel for it after seeing pics of the old 50th anniversary version. It also seemed like too much shiny silver when on bracelet, but the bracelet was quality (much heavier than the Rolex bracelet). Wore in between the older No Date Sub and SD (was about 13.5mm thick), and I liked it the most on a black vintage rubber strap.

I'd wear that. On a nato, of course.

Love them. The series 1-3 LE is obviously the best of them. These were THE diver to own when I got into watches.

I owned it and loved it (an all time favorite of mine) but the NJ Service Center sucks so I sold it after 2 bad experiences with them.

Man these look so dated now.

The FF and the GMT were the two best from Trilogy collection. I have the FF and wear it occasionally.
The 1151 was a mainstay until the 1315 calibre was developed for their larger watches. Still relevant as it's in the 40mm Milspec...

thanks guys, really like the GMT, the servicing issue concerns me a little.

They made it right each time, but it had to go back 3 times each time it went in for service. That said, it looked and wore amazing on the black leather strap. Still one of m favorites to this day and they are cheap on the second hand market.Nomadz wrote:thanks guys, really like the GMT, the servicing issue concerns me a little.

I had the GMT also... I just couldn't get around the fact that the side had Blancpain engraved down it. The bezel was a bit much for me as well. I still liked the watch just found myself wearing it in rotation more...
