Sinn 657

Post by Quicksilver9365 » Thu Jan 11, 2018 3:30 pm

So I have been partially drooling over a 657 that’s posted on WUS for sale. Seller has it listed at $1500 firm. Appears to be from Robbatopper and purchased in October 2017 from him. Papers show possible original purchase date of 2011. These don’t come up often but I’m worried about service and it’s not perfect condition (don’t expect that in a 7 year old watch)

Any opinions on this model? Have been through a few 556’s in my watch collecting years but really like this model.
Thanks
Jason

The 657 rocks and that’s a fair price, although I paid 1350 for mine a few years ago...

Edit: mine was the UTC model

Thanks. Yeah tough ponying up $1500 for a 7 year old watch. The 857 UTC is my grail Sinn watch but those up rarely. Not sure where else to go in the Sinn line.
My other thoughts are to not go with a blasted style watch since I have the Damasko DA44 which I love.

657 is a perfect sized Sinn.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the movement - just ask rob how it’s running. But that’s the name of the game.

If it’s on bracelet I’d say $1500 is an OK price...
