Grip Auto's Tourismo

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Dec 18, 2017 10:18 am

Has anyone had time to look at these automotive-like watches already? Just am
actually seeing them. They are from Grip Auto, and look to be based in Australia.

Their new Tourismo has a 40mm stainless steel, or rose gold plated stainless steel
case, 50m WR, sapphire crystals, dials in black, blue with black, yellow with black,
and ivory with sleek numbers, markings, and accents. You also have leather rally
straps with the Miyota 2115 quartz being behind everything.

Just a few pictures...

Just was getting ready to put up another topic when I saw this. Man, and I got
two posts !! ..Actually, have to admit, I like race style watches sir, and other
than the quartz, like them honestly.

Just was reporting on them really. It's up to you to decide.

Thanks so much for your opinions Chris !

There's a lot here to hate:
The T. rex hands
The date window
The logo
The multiple fonts
The red hashes
The multiple minute tracks
The second hand
The placement of tourismo

The date window
+1

The date window that shows you the first digit of the previous day and the second digit of the next day must be one of the worst executions I've ever seen.

there is *so* much to hate about these watches, i don't even know where to start. that yellow one w/the red outlines on the numbers hurts my eyes in so many ways... worst of a bad lot.
