Help with Seiko 775 'turtle' ceramic bezel inserts
"It's NOT a turtle".. I know, I know, but it's become almost general use now.
Anyway, I don't have my finger on the pulse of Seiko modding, but I know many of you are experts.
I've seen replacement ceramic inserts from DLW watches.. here they are:
https://www.dlwwatches.com/products/cer ... ue-stealth
and
https://www.dlwwatches.com/products/cer ... tage-black
Has anyone had any experience with DLW, or would you recommend another supplier?
Any advice welcomed!

I have only bought crystals from them but I have had good luck so far.

I’d suggest a nicely done coin-edge bezel to finish off the look with the ceramic.

I really like the second one you posted minus the stupid seconds hand.

I hate a lot of mods, but those both look pretty good (except for the milgauss knock off hand).

Mine is from Lumed Ceramic Bezel Inserts (LCBI). Quality is good.

I agree. I got mine from LCBI and it went on without a problem. makes the watch look 10 times better.
Re: Help with Seiko 775 'turtle' ceramic bezel inserts
I would have used a DLW ceramic insert if they weren't all sold out. I settled for the Dagaz standard insert, which is still nice.
Re: Help with Seiko 775 'turtle' ceramic bezel inserts
Bought 4-5x from DLW without any issues. Hands, crystals, inserts were all very nice.
Re: Help with Seiko 775 'turtle' ceramic bezel inserts
Never bought from him myself and don't usually do bezel replacements but the last project I did would benefit from a nice bezel insert, I like the ceramic ones but need to research a bit more. If I find anything I will share.
