It’s thinner, 12mm vs 15.6mm. This is another reason I’m attracted to the EZM 9 & T1

I thought it was a beast at first too. But now it’s been my daily wearer. The titanium makes it light and it just wears really well. It’s made me pretty damn close to a one watch man. I’d imagine the 9 wears pretty sweet too. Still need to try a Pelagos. Someday
Congrats!!! It’s an awesome watch

I’m in the same boat. I’ve been researching this and the T1 B for the last 10 days and then Ed pulls the rabbit out of the hat. His endorsement & photos have completely pushed me over the edge. I’ve downloaded over 150 photos and read everything I can. IMO this technical/ design powerhouse is worth every penny to me.
Cheers

That T1B is really unappealing to me. I'd think super hard about that one before buying.

The 10 is 15.6mm thick (thin by Omega standards lol) and the head weighs 95 grams.
The 9 is 12mm thick and 71 grams

I don’t think I could do anything as drastic as be a one-watch guy, but this is nice enough to be that for someone. With the domed crystal, sapphire lumed bezel, and all the other features I’d say it has influences of these: Sinn U1, Tudor Pelagos, BP Fifty Fathoms Sport, and EZM 1.

Trust me I have. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I like the hands. I think if it had the sword hands it would be way more popular. But in the hand/ on the wrist it’s amazing to me. Love the push to turn bezel too, very positive clicks. Much better than the U1/U2 series I tried at the show.
To me, this T1 B fits like a glove
Easily the lightest/ most comfortable diver I’ve ever tried on

Congratulations, Ed. This is one of Sinn’s best.

Congratulations Ed that's a good looking watch. When I saw your first picture I thought it was something new or a least a newish Sinn I hadn't seen before. Seeing the stock picture with it on rubber I realize I've seen it before and ignored it, your pictures do it far more justice.
And just to add my bit, I can't stand the T1, dislike the hands, hate the case and object to the bezel. I would however like to try out the bezel, it's the one thing that could be improved on the UX, I find it could feel more robust between the clicks (that probably makes no sense to anyone).

Thanks again everyone. This model is one that was somewhat hurt by the stock photos and lack of discussion. The latter issue surely resulted from the fact that there just aren’t many of these in watch nerd hands, at least it seems that way.
I’m beyond thrilled with the EZM9 and am not exaggerating when I say that it really is a fantastic watch. It has all the design elements we like in a Sinn, with their typical German attention to detail. I honestly cannot think of anything at the $3500 price point that I’d rather have.

That's a strong and telling statement and makes me want to try one even more - it will have to be down range, though

Let’s keep in mind two crucial elements -
To the first comment I say; given more time I may think of something I like better.
To the second comment; the operative word is “could”.
You boys need to up your game.

That 1.1 is going to take most of your wrist time, I bet.
The size of the 1.1 is a perfect change from the 1.0. It’s an absolute win on a ZULU-type strap. And it’s accurate as hell. I’m willing to bet you dump a couple of pieces after you’ve spent time with the 1.1.

I’m excited. It’s supposed to land tomorrow. I’ve got a few Zulu straps with black hardware already set aside.

I know the 10 is Sinn’s in house SZ01. I thought the 9 would be similar, but I guess it’s because no chrono.
