I absolutely love this watch. What are your thoughts on GS? Anyone own this model or alike?

I'm partial to these older GS Divers, especially compared to the new reference. An SBGA029 is a lot of watch for the money, and for daily wear, SpringDrive is an incredibly robust movement. The biggest drawbacks are that it is a large, heavy case (feels like a typical Seiko diver), with surfaces that are highly polished, as well as the center links, so it will show some wear with normal use. Can't go wrong if you can find one and buy it right. :salute:

Always wanted to try it, but I’m sure it would be too large.

Feels much smaller than an SRP, if you’ve tried one, Nick.

I’ve wanted one badly for awhile. Not sure I can justify the price though I’m confident that it’s worth it.

Funny I was viewing these two earlier today, which I like better. Not a fan of the power reserve indicator on the dial above.

Didn't go that far into the site, but yes pretty big, but they are Titanium at least.

46.9mm x 17mm.

They look great otherwise. Lugs seem to have gotten some inspiration from the SubC, which isn’t a bad thing IMO.

I think it's over $10,000 too.

Really wish they'd do one of these in a more manageable 40 or 42mm.

I’d love one of these, and I could definitely pull it off.
Too bad I can’t afford it.

It's an incredibly beautiful series of watches. Breathtaking.
I agree a 42 mm offering would be awesome.

It wore like a Shogun when I tried on the Ti version

Everything seems to get compared to the Sub eventually...but I'm not seeing that in the lugs

Totally agree Carl. And looks great on that rubber strap. Can you share where to source it online? :salute:

The lugs are wide, but not so boring as a sub's. The bracelet, however, is a pure omega rip off.

Its a Hirsch Pure. The dive pics show it on a Hirsch Extreme. Lots of places carry Hirsch straps.
