Image hosting questions
Old guy stuff:
First, is there a way to bulk delete my images from photobucket, or do I have to do them all one by one?
And, does anyone have experience with Flikr?

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Re: Image hosting questions
if you have your photos in folders (watch, beach, etc) you can delete the folder and all photos within the folder at one time
no experience with flickr, but I moved over to imgbb.com when I quit photobucket and have been pleased

Re: Image hosting questions
Flickr is pretty good, but is geared more towards photographers who want to share their work in their Flickr stream rather than on forums. It makes grabbing direct links to the photos more difficult than something like imgur.
Re: Image hosting questions
I use Google Photos for phone pics. It works well with Tapatalk. Flickr for everything else. Once I select the size I want, I right click on it for the link. Plenty of free storage on both with no f***ing pop up ads.
No, it's not Tourettes.

Dang. I tried google photos on my phone. I could never get links to work on here. Maybe I’ll try again.ChuckW wrote:I use Google Photos for phone pics. It works well with Tapatalk. Re: Image hosting questions
Yeah, Google photos doesn't allow public linking in general. There are some weird workarounds, but no easy way.
Re: Image hosting questions
Google Photos works great for me with the Chrome mobile browser. I saved all my PB folders over to Google Photos, and have no issues with posting links. The “workaround” is just adding “-tmp.jpg” to the end of the image URL when you copy/paste. That’s all.

Re: Image hosting questions
BTW, you can set up the Flickr app to automatically store your phone pics the same way Google Photos does. Flickr makes it a little easier than Google to share or link to photos.nweash wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 1:36 pmDang. I tried google photos on my phone. I could never get links to work on here. Re: Image hosting questions
I tried deleting my Photobucket photos before I closed my account, but they didn’t delete. Apparently once uploaded they belong to Photobucket. I recall a discussion on this a while back.

I deleted folder by folder. Now I use postimage n imgur
Re: Image hosting questions
I did that too, but when I went back in the photos were still present, without folders. When I tried to delete, it said I didn’t have permission.mikeylacroix wrote:I deleted folder by folder. Now I use postimage n imgur

Never mind, got it figured out.

Not looking to delete, just want to copy.
Is there a way to copy pictures in bulk?

I have tried it and can confirm that it works.
If you don't have bash natively in your OS (i.e. running Windows), install Cygwin to get it. During installation make sure to add "curl" to the packages to install - this is the only additional package you need to copy files from PB.
