After comparing it to the Lincoln MKX, the BMW five, the Mercedes, and the Audi, the caddies fit our needs much better seemed better value for dollar and they just awesome vehicles both of them

That’s a great motor. Same as the Camaro, I believe.

Why not one SUV and one car for a little variety?

I've been thinking about switching up our cars - but we'll probably one big suv and one sporty sedan.

That's cute. I never understood verts, but that's coming from a guy that loves hatchbacks and wagons Image

I thought I'd give a little update with my impressions of the XT5. First, " It ain't your fathers Cadillac!" After a couple weeks with the XT5, I can say this is really a Nice car. The dash, door panels and seats are hand stitched leather, (lower door panels no so much though) very striking interior, the seats are firm, very BMW like, not uncomfortable at all. It is quick, and handles surprisingly well, with no real noticeable body roll on twistys. Again, similar to the BMW X5, and Mercedes. The cabin is quiet and the 8 Spd trans is very nice, has paddle shifters as well. There is an AWD sport mode that is really enjoyable.

Nice to hear- that is a vehicle I need to look at--the pricing on the BMW and Mercedes alone is crazy...Seems like you made a good choice.

New car pricing in general is crazy, especially when you factor in the money lost in depreciation. They are offering 7 yr loans now to help people finance them. Silly.

Then again, if you’re someone like me, who keeps vehicles for long period of time, likemy vette which is going to be 20 in January, stretching out the payments doesn’t really make a difference.

I wish I could be content owning vehicles more than 3-4 years, but I'm a sucker for shinny new toys.
