The black one looks better to me. I bet if you asked 100 people the results would be close to 50/50.
I agree.

Maybe offer both.

Does need longer minute and second hands.

I am open to producing some with a black bezel but I prefer the steel and feel it works better on the watch.

Steel for sure. If you will do black bezel insert, just do away with the black insert and DLC the entire bezel.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Looks Good. Definitely longer hands as everyone else said. As for adressing the lug pin position I suggest having 2 sets of holes added so that any and all straps can be used.

Awesome, every watch should have two sets of holes 👍

Getting back on track here, I plan on having a new rendering with longer hand set over the next day or two.
Also, the lug holes will be set back a couple of millimeters to minimize the gap between strap and case.
The crystal will be flat sapphire. I want this to be a bit thinner than the Baltic/Nordic Shield watches.

Good stuff. Looking forward to it.

I think two sets of lug holes is the way to go as mentioned above

The masses have spoken... I have listened.

1. I will be producing a with date and no date version
2. I will be using a longer, broader hand set.
3. I will be moving the lug holes back a couple mm to reduce the gap between strap and case.
4. I will be delivering this watch to DWC members for $229.00 including travel case, two straps and 12 month no questions asked warranty.

Renderings to follow very soon.

Now hop on board and commit to me, watch geeks.

Don’t forget to fix the 3:00 index on the no-date version.

That looks pretty good! I personally would prefer the Date at 6 o'clock and make the indices a little slimmer (especially 12 o'clock), but think you've got a winner! Love the Doxa orange, but would love to see yellow as well. Making both dials?

Or the orangeish-yellow on the upcoming Seaforth from Halios looks hot as well!
