Ocean Crawler

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Sep 25, 2017 11:16 am

Have you guys happened to see this new American watch company based right in
Rochester New York called Ocean Crawler already?

The watches are the Champion Diver, and Shipwreck Hunter Chronograph everyone.

Looks like the Champion Diver has a 44.2mm stainless steel case with 300M WR,
thick domed AR coated sapphire crystal, uni-directional coin-edge bezel, stationary
internal counter ring, nice blue dials with Super-Luminova coated numbers, and
hands, caliber OC729 automatic (modified Seiko 4R36b) with shock resistance to
6000 G, plus orange rubber strap, brown leather strap, and more guys.

Next the Shipwreck Hunter Chronograph has a 43mm titanium case, 600M WR, thick
AR coated domed sapphire crystal, a uni-directional sapphire bezel with 7 layers of
Super-Luminova, textured black, or blue dials with Super-Luminova coated hands,
and markers, caliber OC777 which is a modified Seiko NE88, and cool canvas straps.

Here is a look...

Those enormous lug screws are offensive looking on that case.

The Crawler has a useless bezel and unprotected crown at 3. The Shipwreck has a screwed case-back. No thanks.

They should just rename both to Trainwreck.

"Crawler" . . . "Shipwreck" . . .

I'm guessing they couldn't get the rights to "Titanic" or "Kursk".
