Looked at some Germans today

Post by mfxr » Thu Aug 31, 2017 3:43 am

I took a drive today up to sunny Noosa, where they just happen to have Australia's Sinn AD - Definewatches (They have several other brands also; Muhle Glashutte, Hanhart, Dornbluth & Sohn to mention a few).
I finally got to check out a few models in person that I have not had my hands on before:
A few 103 models, this one in Ti was nice:

Sinn 356 Fleiger (both acrylic and saphire models. Understated but cool watches)

The Muhle Glashutte Lunova Chronograph was really nice. The Promare chrono very nice also, but I didn't get a pic :tap:

It was not a random visit, as I had the EZM13 on my mind for the last few weeks. It lived up to all expectations, so I pulled the trigger and took this home with me

In other Sinn news, while I was there we talked about the Sinn price rise, and the re-release of a new EZM1 model (EZM1.1) which sounds very interesting, and both happening 1st September :o

Nice!!

I wish the EZM 1.1 was based on this case (thanks for dropping that tidbit - Google search yields juicy results).

Nice! I love the 13. Need to try one.
I really really miss my 103 testaf. That was a. Awesome watch.

What was the price on that? I see they discontinued it.

AUD $3,875.00 on strap, + AUD $500 for bracelet. (1 Australian Dollar equals 0.79 US Dollar)

Titanium Sinns are awesome - I would actually love if the EZM13 was Ti

They were keeping quiet about it, but he said customers had already started calling on the phone trying to pre-order, so the cat was already well out of the bag somehow. My timezone is 8 hours ahead of Germany so release was just about to happen anyway

They were on the phone to Sinn Germany while I was there, talking to them about it. All I got detail wise was that it wasn't Titanium, very limited numbers and expensive  , but we have a whole thread about that now

Cool, nice pickup.
I am sure I will have a 103 of some kind in the future.

Though owning both the 1.1 and 13, the 13 may be for sale soon

There is definitely some overlap there. Trade out the 13 for something with a different look.
