The U1000 and U200 are both officially retired. No more pieces will be built, but you may still find some at dealers. Last I checked, WatchBuys only had a few left.

It breaks my heart. The U1000 will always be one of my favorites.rockmastermike wrote:Thanks for the confirmation, Chris

I also need another then. One of my favorite dive watches.
Re: U1000 being Retired?
Always liked the look but seemed like they would be uncomfortable to wear all day. I think I tried one at a gtg but don't they ride tall?

That's a shame, one of my all time favorite Sinns

Too bad, I always assumed they were too giant/tall for me but they sure seem like a high quality beast of a diver.

Not at all. It is one of the most well balanced watches I've ever worn on a bracelet. I don't think it is much taller than my Planet Ocean, and not much (if at all) heavier.Chocodove wrote:Too bad, I always assumed they were too giant/tall for me but they sure seem like a high quality beast of a diver.

agreed - mine was supremely comfortable and balanced. amazingly so for the size - it wore more comfortable than my 8500 or MM300
