Yes, why not?

Yes, as long as you disclose in your FS ad that you'll continue wearing it as your daily driver until sold.

11%
No, because in that case the condition of the watch described in my FS ad is more and more inaccurate.

I typically don't, but if the condition doesn't change. I don't see an issue

Of course. It's yours. But if the condition changes, you need to update any of the interested parties.

it's a little weird, imo. and while i agree, as long as condition doesn't change, it's possible you may miss something that did.

I don't wear mine once they go up for sale but I wouldn't care if someone did. As long as they update the listing/price if the condition changes it's all good in my books.

Since I'm likely the inspiration for the thread, I say yes. :bird:

I've got a couple posted and wouldn't mind selling them, but I'm not interested in giving them away and could be fine keeping either or both, so I'll wear them as the mood strikes me. Of course, if the condition changes I'd update the sales posts to reflect same.

It depends how long it's for sale. Wear a couple times while it's listed? OK. Wear it for three months while you're bumping over and over and over? Seems like you should update some pictures to me.

That makes sense. Then again, mine would be pulled before that happens.

^^^I'd agree. With me though I don't for the simple reason I don't want to risk anything happening. If I've decided to sell It's usually because I don't wear it enough, which means I won't miss it.

Not judging at all or anyone in particular, just wanted to see forum's opinions.
I personally would add to my FS Ad the fact that I'd wearing it while it's listed for sale, YMMV

I don't personally, and for the most part assume most people don't. I guess then I prefer sellers not to but that's not a hard and fast rule. Context is always important.

I'd say no. It'd be easy to add a scratch or brush mark without noticing and then sell it with that unadvertised flaw.

I almost always send new pics right before shipping regardless if I've worn it. It helps me know that the buyer knows exactly what's bring received.

I did see someone update a listing once. It went from "mint" to "oops I wore it yesterday and dinged the bezel," with a price drop of course.

This thread reminds me that I want to keep them all and not sell. I need to channel some Willy Zen.

I also usually pack them away after listing so I'm not tempted to change my mind.

Packing away is a good first step, so that you know you're not going to miss it. Once you're used to not having it, the sale is great because it's like cash for something you already didn't have.

No. Once I photograph it, it doesn't get worn again.

POLL QUESTION 2, is it ok to list a watch for sale and afterward jerk off wearing it?

I follow this philosophy too. In fact I usually put a watch away in advance of listing it so that I can assess whether or not I'll miss it once it's gone. By the time it goes up for sale I'm hopefully mentally prepared to live without it.

Edit: I see that Jacob just said the same thing.

For me it's a turn off.
You put it for sale, box it up and keep it as described and as pictured in what should have been current photos taken for the sale post.
Why even take the chance to put a dent in it?
