How dare you Chris!

Ugh, I was swindled. I guess when I get mine I'll donate it to whatever charity John Mayer is part of.

Thanks, guys, for the kind words. Huge thanks to Chris for getting in touch with me and helping with the details, and for designing such a great watch! I was fortunate to meet the WatchBuy guys in Basel and we talked about an opportunity to review the U1 Pro. I was just happy to get the story done before they all sold out!

Well done, Jason! It certainly generated a buzz. Noticed IG activity in likes, comments, and DMs following the article, presumably because people were searching hashtags on IG. And my account isn't highly trafficked.

It looks like they've sold two since the article. Down to 17 left.

^^^ Just about the dumbest comment I've ever heard. Nothing about the U1-P suggests Bathyscaphe. :banghead:
Maybe he is talking about the hand shape, which were on the U1 since 2005.
Yup, exactly.
Well, of course! The hands! That's what I get for only swimming in the shallow end - I don't stay on the up and up with the high roller types. And yes, I forgot about the hand shape. What's worse is I not only missed that glaring issue AND the misspelling that Andrew so aptly pointed out. nothing to see here, just carry on.

Personally, I would rather have the U1P than a bathyscape. And I am saying that with my wallet too.

Great write-up Jason. I think if you took pics of me pole dancing with it on it would have sold out faster. Just my .02

This donut-loving cop managed to sell 100 watches, so I guess I did something right.
