The black dial stainless and while dial stainless (top row, left side) are nice.

Those two look great. I'm not crazy about the rest.hoppyjr wrote:The black dial stainless and while dial stainless (top row, left side) are nice.

I really liked the U1-B with the Bund look, these just look pretty generic to me.

Like the white dial, but they should have put the bezel from the first one one it.

New Unimatic models are up
That's just bizarre. There is something wrong for sure. That actually happened. It also explains why one can refresh the page and not see a duplicate, but it shows up later.Chocodove wrote:hoppyjr wrote:The black dial stainless and while dial stainless (top row, left side) are nice. The rare two-hours-after-OP-DP.hoppyjr wrote:The black dial stainless and while dial stainless (top row, left side) are nice.

Getting close to just disabling Tapatalk completely. This is insane.
New Unimatic models are up
Not just happening on Tapatalk, there the other issues too. The forum hangs even on my Mac. It's random and not platform isolated, also not affecting everyone the same.matt.wu wrote:Getting close to just disabling Tapatalk completely. This is insane.
I'd estimate I see it 20% of my posts (max) but I catch and delete most.
There is a deeper problem.

Andrew explained it in another post, but it's still Tapatalk. The forum plugin affects all posts since it's trying to keep track of notifications for subscriptions, etc...
Double posts seem to primarily be a culprit of the Tapatalk iOS app, but the performance issues are affecting everyone.
Re: New Unimatic models are up
FWIW When I created this thread, it appeared to hang my browser when I hit submit (Chrome on desktop PC).
I opened a new browser window to check if the thread had posted (which it had) so I just closed the original browser window.
It would be easy for someone to spam the submit button on the first window, thinking it hadn't worked, possibly creating multiple threads?
I personally notice these kind of performance issues pretty regularly, so it sucks if just the Tapatalk plugin is causing them (I don't use tapatalk at all, so would be happy for it to die )
Just some feedback - Thanks Matt and Andrew for putting in the work for us all

Re: New Unimatic models are up
Oh and I also like the first 2 models (top left). It is a great case design. ( I have ordered a white dial actually) .
The 2 black dialed DLC models are not bad either I think

Seiko NH35A movement.
Price depends on model: around 485-585 Euro +Shipping (50 Euro for me to Australia)
The website has taken a pounding (it was difficult to get an order in), and now there is a Hodinkee article up by Jason (some nice pics too), so expect even more pounding I guess

Re: New Unimatic models are up
These are actually pretty nice looking watches. 40mm size and unique color combo's make them stand out.
Re: New Unimatic models are up
The U1-x does wear way bigger than 40mm FYI.
Bezel is wider @ around 42mm. It is a really nice case design, finishing is similar to the level found on a Seiko SRP, so not high end but nice enough.
