Is it safe to get my Rolex damp?

Post by cdnwatchguy » Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:34 pm

Been neglecting to post a few pics from the Cayman Islands a couple of weeks back. We did 10 dives including a couple of wrecks. The 4000 foot Sea Dweller handled 60 feet of water.

Had to take a pic like this

It wasn't all diving though

Diving is fine, just don't take it into the shower. The "hydrostatic pressure" is dangerous. I read this on WUS so it comes from experts.

Just freaking awesome! If only I could sell everything I have, move to the Caribbean, and do that daily...........life just gets in the way though.

We dove at sunset house, too. Enjoyed it very much. Not fancy, but clean and good diving.

You're a moron, 'hydrostatic' pressure is bullshit. It's the soap making the seals slippery that let's the water in...

Nice photos, great to see a Rolex actually being used as a dive watch :)

I know! I kept expecting a gang of TRF inmates to brand me a heretic and run over me with their Porsche Panameras. :smack:

Looks like you had a blast. I am still appalled you got your watch wet though.
