Merkur Futur Adjustable Safety Razor
I was gifted this razor from Dave (safetystop) a while back and I wanted to post my thoughts on it. I wasn't sure what to think about it honestly since I have other razors that I have enjoyed using. But I have to say if I was a beginner, or an expert this is the perfect razor. I like the fact that you can adjust the blade for aggressiveness, with the twist of the handle. So if I go to long without shaving I can make it less aggressive, and then eventually turn it up to be super aggressive so I have a clean shave.
My only issue would be, is if I was someone who shaved under my nose then I might not be able to close enough. Because the top of this razor is very thick. So getting really close would be difficult.
Good review right here: http://www.shaving101.com/index.php/pro ... razor.html
Thanks again Dave!

I've got that same razor. Been using it for several years now. I have had no problem shaving close under my nose. That taint to say you would have no problems in other places, but the nose shouldn't be one of them.
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

I thought you plucked.
As far as the Futur goes, I gave my first one away because it didn't play nice with Feather blades. I ended up buying another one because it was so nice with everything but Feathers. In the end, what made it work was changing shave soap, and it works great with the Feathers. I like them because they're sharp, consistent, and stupid cheap over here.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
