For $1500 I would hope they could fit a piss-pip to go along with all the piss lume. Whatever catalog they order out of, must not stock that.

Wow, for a former watch du jour of DWC, Bremont is taking it across the chin with their 2017 releases.

The lugs and crown look the same as the old Supermarine.

Bremont really went weak as fuk on the the dials. One of the main attractions to these watches (and justification for their prices) are their textured dials and applied markers. Not only did they ditch the beautiful SM500/2000 bezels, but they managed to make a totally uninspired dial that looks like it belongs on a $400 micro.
These might need to be seen to appreciated, but regardless the Bremont boys took countless short-cuts on these new offerings. Given MSRP, I would've thought that the profit margins are high enough...guess not.

Dimensions are bang-on, have to agree with the other sentiment in the thread that Bremont's appeal (for me at least) with the Supermarine is the rad case design and the really dynamic dials. Since the RRP difference between these is only 4 or 5 hundred bucks, is it really worth it?

Could be the lighting or smudges but its top left lug looks like it was shaped with a ball peen hammer.

As for some of the others, I think they look okay, but they can keep that cockring BB crown.

Maybe it's just the photos but the proportions look off to me on the 40mm Supermarines. In particular, the lugs look too long/wide for the case and that gives the whole watch an odd appearance IMO.

It vaguely reminds me of the 40mm H20 Marlin lugs.

We've been focusing on the obvious failures of this watch, but the bracelet end link is also kind of sloppy. There's a solid 1mm of play visible in that pic.
