E J Churchill Bremont Damascus Steel
I'd much rather have an EJ Churchill shotgun, but the Bremont/EJ Churchill watch isn't too bad. I like this damascus case better than most.

Bird counter?
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.
Re: E J Churchill Bremont Damascus Steel
Interesting choice to co-op with. I wonder if Chris Batha is still involved. The rose and scroll reference is cheesy without actual engraving on the subdials.

They're running out of gimmicks.
Re: E J Churchill Bremont Damascus Steel
The price for full engraving on a London-style gun has long been ten grand. I know. I've paid it. Even that bit on two subdials would likely push it over market. There are only a handful of engravers around.

Not so sure about it.
I'd much rather have the hand carved designed Rolex that we talked about last year.

Re: E J Churchill Bremont Damascus Steel
The irony is that rose and scroll engraving first appeared on pocket watches before shotguns. Mid to late 19th century.

Wow, you don't mess around!

Re: E J Churchill Bremont Damascus Steel
I've had another hobby alongside watches. Churchill is just another revived name trying to use the only 20 or so tradesmen working today in the UK. Tony White is one of them. He's been outsourced by Holland & Holland for decades.
I saw a couple Churchills in progress in the white at their estate. The wood was so unevenly proud I was shocked they let us see them. On finished wood in case you were wondering.

Is that a watch for hypnotizing people?

I'm not even going to comment on the bird counter BS feature.

No Shit. I love me a nice Bremont Solo, but I would not be shocked at all to see the "JonBenet Ramsey" Bremont, complete with bone fragments of a missing little girl at this rate. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I actually like the Damascus steel case.
One thing I noticed, it doesn't say chronometer. I thought all Bremonts were chronometer grade.

Nick at Orion watches has some killer engravings on his watches. If I had the money I would get one.
