When we put Sully down on June 1st, my wife and I agreed to wait six months before considering another dog.
We didn't make it to six months.
Picked up Loki, an eight week old French Bulldog puppy, late this afternoon; we are very happy.

So cute Matt. I love frenchies. I wish my dog would be nice enough to let me get another.

Loki's 6 months old, a bit over 25 pounds and minus his balls.
Definitely a lot of dog in a small package.

He got in the yard with them only once - the chickens did not enjoy it.

My step-son has chickens, and what he calls his head of security rooster. His 3 dogs stay clear of him. Says it chases other dogs away from the yard.

The Town does not permit owning roosters, and caps the number of chickens at six.

He lives outside the city on a few acres, so no restrictions.
