I have a black-dial B Seawolf and a yellow one; also, a blue SMPc and a black one.

I know I've owned multiple versions of the same watch, though I'm not sure I've ever had them at the same time. Don't see a reason why not to if you like them.

Yup ! If you love the watch and it wears well on you , definitely not redundant !

The watches are gone and all that remains are the ads that I collected, but owned more than a few of these at varying times back in the day. Way before prices went through the roof. Ahhh, the good ol' days...

At one point I only had 2, and they were both Doxa 750s.

That's rediculous. Who would do such a thing?

I had a PAM111 and 113 at the same time, which are essentially identical except one is white and one is black. Which to me makes them totally different?

I don't see a problem. I've had two 1200T's, sharkhunter and searambler. I've had two Speedmaster's, moonwatch and panda. I've also had multiple SKX's in various states of modification.

I have 5 Seiko skx...2sets of identical and one of a different color
Had 2 Orient Makos one blue and one black
4 pairs of Red wing Beckmans, each in a different color.
3 Red wing Iron rangers in 3 different colors/styles..
5 same brand style Polo shirts in various colors
dress shirts, same style, different colors...
Jeans, find a style that fits me well and add a few options in color.
Point being, If you find something that you like and fits well, adding more in different colors is not only acceptable but prudent. Adding some of the same color is also not a bad idea as I find with clothes, when my favorite shirt wears out after a year or more, the odds of finding the same style again is low.
With watches, Having two of the same color allows me to keep one on bracelet and another on strap. I can grab one quickly without having to swap the bands back and forth..
Having one in several colors allows me to swap color with mood and dress, knowing that I still find the fit nd aesthetics of the watch to my liking...

Mind you, I have had the same hair style pretty much since 1990...
