Isofrane on MM300

So I got an Isofrane against my better judgement. I hate this thing. The tail is gnarly. It's just waiting to get caught on something.

It's going back on the Crafter Blue. I need a deployant to bury the tail of any strap. Anyone here know of one that will fit an Isofrane?

I'll try a MM one day, but I've never been an iso look fan either. I've had a CB strap for almost a year on my Sumo, which is a heavy watch, and found it to be a perfect balance for the heft, and very comfortable as well. Thought that would be the case with the MM as well. Do wish they would provide the MM one with a standard buckle option.

Never been an Iso fan. The toxic rubbers are IMO every way just as good or better for a fraction of the price. Only in 22mm though

However, for actual diving use I can see how isofrane gets the nod. Still, I find their prices, new, to be not worth it.

Wayne, I just used a crappy silicone Breitling style rubber strap on mine. That way I can tighten it down, and it wasn't to long.

The rubber itself feels good. But that tail hanging off the side isn't working for me. The gap at the lugs makes the watch appear taller than it is. Live and learn. Or stick with your first hunch.

Not to stir the pot, but how are toxic rubbers any different then the arguments being made against the Ginault?

Terry, I need several from you... And please do 20mm and new colors (olive green would be dope).

20/22/24, softer rubber also. But not as "sticky" as the ISO

I know the ISO is supposed to be the go to dive strap, but I don't think it's right on the MM the more I look at the spring bar mounting points it's not quite right there either. I'm really starting to think the Crafter Blue is just that well done for the MM.

I don't want to drag Terry into this but the Ginault issue is a specious argument at best. And I don't want to buy one. I have better things on my wish list.

I would love the Crafterblue with a buckle, I couldn't get the right adjustment on the MM when I wore it. But that is just my experience. I tried to contact them with some thoughts and ideas. I even tried to work with them, they didn't respond at all.

Yup. That's the point. This hobby is completely irrational. Trying to justify reason for why some find something OK/likeable and others don't is a fruitless endeavor. Nothing about buying wrist candy is logical since it is almost always an emotional purchase.
