I love this pick up. Congratulations. I had heard good things about C&C.

On another note, I always thought about buying a 2005 model to and wear it and ultimately so I had my son's birth year in house to gift to him some day. I should start pursuing that while there might be some NOS around.
Regards
Barry

Over polished

Jk. Congratulations, Jacob. I felt the same way about crown and caliber (unjustified). I will definitely add them to my searches.

Nice. Great pick up.
Every once in a while they seem to have a good price, but as a whole, they're usually on the dealers high end.

Scratches don't bother me, but polishing does.

Good review. Appreciate it!
I was hoping to find a nice, but not perfect, unpolished full set. The forum guys seem to be asking $8,000 or $9,000 for a watch like that these days. I could never live with getting gouged so hard. This NOS model was much cheaper - a couple hundreds more than the last MSRP for this reference.

The last three decently priced LVs I've seen were NOS and offered by big dealers. Very strange.

Looks great !! I agree with crown and calibre service as well. That's where I got my 73 Speedy mark 3 (in the Carlos auction) and the service I got after i won the auction was great.

I want one so bad but refuse to pay a forum stealer $12,000 (or more) for NOS, or worse, $9k for an overpolished turd that they call "mint".

I have a feeling it'll never happen. Congrats on the pickup.

Awesome, great deal. I've also bought from C and C and couldn't agree more with you.
