Great write up Matt, and nice pics too.
Love the watch, although the only thing that put me off a bit was the non crown side shot. Not sure why...maybe seemed a bit Oris looking from that angle.
The overall design and specs are a grand slam though.

You're on a roll Wu, both with the watches and with the reviews. That is a sweet time keeper for sure.

Me too, initially at the AD with the NSA. From a distance, it's a little boring from the "you" side of the watch on the wrist. But upon closer inspection, you begin to notice the contrast between polished bevels and edges and brushed sides, and you're re-assured it isn't just a plain, extruded case.SCM64 wrote: Love the watch, although the only thing that put me off a bit was the non crown side shot. Kinda similar to the new IWC Aquatimer for me - in pictures I was unimpressed. In person, it's much more respectable.

I know a guy who can do a good deal. You can have another big, Ti watch as a California cousin to your SEAL.giosdad wrote:Excellent write up. You don't have to look too far in my recent posts to see what watch has been on my mind lately. As I asked my wife to bring 5 packages to the post office for me on Monday she asked "so what is going to replace these?". I told her nothing yet but that my next purchase might have to wait as it could be big and be another JLC.

And he sees right through me. I even try to include the "con" section to throw you guys off....DMB wrote:Nice write up Matt. All of your write ups make me want to buy whatever it is you are writing up.
Kidding - thanks for the compliment.

Too much leg (and pink shorts), not enough crotch in there, Todd.tmw wrote:On the rubber articulated bracelet.
Seriously though, I'd love to try out one of these articulated rubber bracelets sometime. The Ti bracelet is really nice though.

Better hurry - Adam's given it a week, so I've got a couple more days until it's getting the boot.vbuskirk wrote:1) Thread of the month, 2) the lume shot, 3) that would be an amazing piece to own on the rubber bracelet (though I am still worried about the tuna can size) 4) you've put this watch on my radar now, and finally 5) now that you've officially begun the flipping process by posting a glowing review, can we work out some sort of 'swap' deal while you wile away the requisite delay before posting the FS ad on TZ?

thanks, great watch.
once again i find myself loving the thickness. i think my favorite watches are starting to have something in common.

Super bad ass watch and write up, Matt. Love the side profile shots of the watch... had no idea how substantial it was from the side. I really dig the matt.wu mark on the bezel at the 35 minute zone as well. Nice touch!
Bro, you have indeed been picking up some heavy hitters lately. You are the official west coast super baller!
I have to say... although the rubber coated bracelets are super nice... that thing looks incredible on the Ti bracelet. I love the look and the way it all works together.
That has to be one of the coolest dive watches/watches period... available today.

That was a great review revisited.

Whoa. Blast from the past...

Not sure why we are bumping old posts, but this one was worth the read. Although I'd never wear anything with a huge Trident engraved on it, this watch is 100% bad ass...

I assume any bumped thread around here older than 6 months old means the OP no longer has the watch. I'm not falling for them.
Re: What? No kitchen sink? (JLC Navy Seals GMT Chronograph)
My thoughts still stand on this one, and it's far more affordable these days.
I'd love to find another...
