Re: I do NOT need this, but....
The Borealis one looks well done, but my thing is re-editions from the original maker. MKII isn't even something I'd consider, I'm going nuts just waiting on a Doxa pre-order, and that's less than a year. (hopefully, at least)Seppia wrote:There's one out now (the Borealis) and there's MKII one also, probably coming to you in 2025 (but payment cash in advance)jswing wrote:Oh, right, got it. I already ordered that. I thought maybe there was another Omega 300 re-issue coming..demer03 wrote:He's referring to the NoT Doxajswing wrote:What 300 reissue is coming?BBK357 wrote:The vintage ones you show look good.
The new version looks kinda bad with they awful bezel and the text on the dial. And that crown../ ugh
Just be like me and wait for that 300 re issue coming at end of summer...

Is there a link to the upcoming Doxa?
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

The Borealis looks really good, but I would have preferred having the crown at 6 o' clock.

As a guy who has bought a lot of watches with poor resell value I can foresee this one as falling in that category.

This would be the one I would choose. The larger hands def look better.jswing wrote:Well, they do make a version with the bigger hands. Dammit Mike, now you've got me looking at the damn thing.
edit: and I just realized this version has no date! Damn, damn, damn. I want one.
The watch wears very flat. I had the Crepas L.Ocean which is similar, so if you have smaller wrists you'll get lug overhang.

The Searambler pics should be out any day now.

I like the ZRC, Mike, but am wondering how hard it is to track down an original? What do the originals go for?
I'm excited about the release of the 300 NoT, but would much rather get another vintage 300 Pro (I never should have sent that back to you )
Though I expect that original ZRCs are much harder to find than vintage Doxa.

What's wrong with a stubby cock?
Re: I do NOT need this, but....
Nothing if you are a person. A watch however should not have a stubby cock.

Yeah Mike, get it. I always love when the re-issue is so true to the original. This one especially.
