Now the chrono doesn't reset.. bastard. Gonna have to go in for service, probably a bust stem bolt hammer

You're spot on, it was due a service, so I'm not too angry, just feel like a plumb for dropping it.

JP.. Wasn't a bathroom fall thankfully, it was on top of 3 stacked watch boxes and slipped off onto my desk - only a 12" fall. Grrr.

Sorry about that been there a few months ago dropped the RAF Omega 53 on a wood floor landed face first on the crystal it cracked the crystal lucky no damage to the case and it would run but sporadically ordered a original crystal from a seller in England had the local watchmaker service it and replace the crystal and good as new a pain it the ass. Just got metal ring that goes between the magnetic dust cover and the back cover that hold the dust cover in place that's all ways missing on these put it in the other day. At least I don't have to have it service for a while now

I guess we know the reason it's the moonwatch... Low gravity.

Wearing my Speedy now in hopes of a quick recovery... My buddy dropped his 6139 pogue and the chrono-start pusher stuck-in just after he got it serviced. I told him to keep it that way until next service because the center clutch wheel mechanism on the particular watch is the rarest and most worn-out part. Even though I've managed to source two NOS/sealed mechanisms since (part# 888612) I haven't stopped my 6139 once.

I've just had a chat with the watchmaker, and fingers-crossed it's a simple fix.. possibly the pusher need replacing. Luckily mine has a display back, so I could check areas he was talking me through. There is a small dint on the reset pusher, so maybe that was the impact point.
