DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
The smallish dial is making me lean towards a Searambler if I order one, the silver dial with the case could give it better balance.. I really liked the two 'Ramblers that I had (750T and 1200T)

I think it will work, just as it does with the vintage models.
Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
Agreed. I'm still tempted.
Re: DOXA's 50th Anni Sub peek
I'm glad it's true to the original.
So many "re issues" being ruined by bigger proportions and tall shiny sides.
"Hey, let's add a display back and inhouse movement, it'll only make it 18mm thick!"

One concern is that this will land (and final payment due) around the time that Chris' U1 is supposed to be ready

Chris, if WB wants us to buy this watch, we need to be able to see it!

Actually, it is Sinn that doesn't want the images released.matt.wu wrote:Well, we have pictures of one and not the other......giosdad wrote:Me three.aikiman44 wrote:Me too.matt.wu wrote:Agreed. I'm still tempted.

I love these but know once on the wrist I'll think it's too small for me...sucks. Such a good looking watch.

....Yes I ordered one (orange)...probably will be two (sharky)....maybe even three (searambler).
1:1 reproduction had me sold immediately. This isn't too small;
The new one won't be either, in my opinion.

I'm going to have to get a Searambler. I've been getting emails, opening the preorder page on my phone every other day and visiting this thread. It's gonna happen.

The good news is if the Mrs. finds out and gets pissed off, you can have your unit reattached. Apparently they've been able to successfully do that surgery.BSears wrote:I'm going to have to get a Searambler. Um, yes, maybe. fucker. But I have every intention of making good on said dibs, but none have been posted for sale here in recent memory. Half the watches is a bit much. Maybe a 1/16. I'll grant you that much.

Well the way things have been going lately, that is entirely possible. And it has nothing to do with watches or any other purchase.lilhoody wrote:Easier to permanently detach from her.hoppyjr wrote:The good news is if the Mrs. finds out and gets pissed off, you can have your unit reattached.
