This is a re-creation of the 1967 model, there was no Divingstar or Caribbean then.
I don't care about history...I want yellow and blue.

I guess one could argue that. Maybe. I don't really think so, but I'm sure you're not alone.

I don't see an option for a 1500 sharkhunter, Ben. It is available in 1200, however.

1500 is available in pro, PVD pro, project aware (Danny), and searambler.

Ben I think you'll need to call to pre-order the Sharkie. I believe only the Pro is available via link.

Ben, you have to call or otherwise contact them directly for the Sharkhunter or Searambler. The online form is only for the Pro. Their CS is 877.255.5017, just call and tell them you want to preorder the 50th anniversary Sharkhunter and they'll take care of you.

Anybody get in on this preorder yet? I've waffled between this and a much more expensive watch for my 40th bday gift. I really want the Searambler.

I have a deposit in for a Sharkhunter. According to the Doxa CS rep on WUS, pics of the Searambler will be available in early June

Edit: However, when in doubt, always buy the more expensive watch

Well yeah ideally that's exactly what I would do. But 1) the one I'm after is roughly 2-3 times the price of the preorder doxa and 2) my CFO/better half will raise unholy hell if I suddenly tell her I just dropped $4k on a new watch. It will be way worse than how that same scenario played out in 2010 when I bought the SubC

Just remember the watch won't be available until November, which is a lifetime for a watch enthusiast/chronic flipper.

I wish I could. Can't justify two Doxas in the collection, but I think it'll be outstanding.

I love it too and started to put deposit but really didn't like the strong arm by Doxa that deposit was non-refundable if you miss out on 300. What's that about?

I bought a Jenny and had great experience from Doxa. Not interested in having $500 held random toward another model. I don't want another model - I want 300!
