Oris Titan C Incoming
Been wanting one of these ever since they came out a decade or so ago. Figured it was time to spend some of my hard earned savings and pick one up. Its design somewhat reminds me of a poor mans DSSD.
I don't know, might be a midlife crisis thing or something (sellers pic)

Looks great! I've been on a small Oris kick myself. Very comfortable watches to wear. More pics on arrival!

Bjorn, do you still have the Orient Sat Diver? I'll be interested to see how the Oris compares to that one. Hopefully being titanium it's a little less "top heavy". I do believe the 47mm Oris's also wear more like a 44mm due to the rounded sides. I had one of those Oris Regulateurs about 7 years ago and I can remember it was pretty thick, but wore smaller than a typical 47mm watch.

Dan: Wearing it right now as a matter of fact
Couple of things: First my Oris is 44mm, yours is 47 mm so they'll wear different I'm sure.
Next, the Oris is a bracelet watch for me, never been off it, that naturally makes it balance differently. The OS300 with bracelet feels like an anchor to me, so I always wear it on straps, which naturally makes it feel a bit more top heavy. I tend to use beefy straps (Iso / Snpr leather / sometimes Drew Canvas) which support it fairly well.
The Oris, once on the wrist, is amazingly comfortable. I like the bracelet a lot, see no reason to ever swap off it. It could be my 'one watch' if I ever had to scale down to a single decent watch. That's what I originally bought it for, still feel that way 3 (4?) years later. It does wear smaller than the advertised size due to the extremely short & curved lugs. Bet that 47mm will wear more like a 44.
Anyway, enough rambling. Let me know what you think when you get it

Congrats! I really liked my Carlos Coste. Oris definitely makes a nice watch.
Re: Oris Titan C Incoming
I was able to handle Bjorn's and it was killer, albeit a little small for me.
Definitely something I'd like in the future. Grey or green please.

Thanks Ed. You may have been better with the 47mm one. But, since they don't work well on natos, this watch will never be for you

I think I'm ok with the bracelet, if only for the cool clasp.jeckyll wrote:Thanks Ed. You may have been better with the 47mm one. But, since they don't work well on natos, this watch will never be for you

Yea, I'm somewhat of a bracelet guy and I really like the super bumpy Oris bracelet so the plan is to wear it as a bracelet only watch.

My favorite Oris. If it wasn't for the proprietary lugs, I would have grabbed one. Congrats!

I like it, and generally find most of the Oris divers a good looking group.... Much like the gents on DWC, I imagine

Re: Oris Titan C Incoming
I had Bjorn's for awhile before him. Oris really makes a solid watch and I thought this compared favorably to the Omega's that I have owned which makes it a bargain. I actually really like the integrated bracelet on Oris Divers. Sort of lends a purity to the overall form. Would have probably kept it if it had a large second hand.

Great pic Nick and for you to say it's comparable to your Omegas is awesome!dnslater wrote:I had Bjorn's for awhile before him. I've owned 2 of these in the past and regretted selling it each time. It's a great wearing watch so enjoy!
