Less reflective surface, if we want to split hairs. The realistic manufacturing side is those chamfers are an mf’r to try and polish or even keep “clean” from machining.nweash wrote:Is there some tactical advantage to bead blasted or is that just an aesthetic choice?
Bead blasted gives it a finish that works.

Re: ARES Watch Company
I do like the watch. What's the advantage of the crown location being where it is.? I see this on Sinn quite a bit.
I wear watches on my left wrist, so always work crown with my right hand, so for me this would seem awkward.
I realize with it being a no date quartz that's a non issue though.

Love the look and price too. Love that it is quartz. I might need to get this.
Re: ARES Watch Company
Looks like a recent tattoo of the logo on your wrist? Way to go all in on this brand.

Congrats, Matt. Look forward to getting one on the wrist.
Off topic, but did you log any Mosul time 2003-2007? Wondering if our paths crossed.

An issue with all metal bezels is it's low contrast with the indicies. I found the same thing with the sbbn017 Tuna and Sinn U1.
Re: ARES Watch Company
Congrats on the new ventures and I have being following up closely the development. Just curious if the triangle (logo) means anything? Also, if you could show us the case back and let know how many LE for D-1.

Yeah the site didn’t show yet last night. So must be very very new.

I'm in, nr 0726 ordered. Looking forward to putting it to the full test: mowing the lawn, working on the bike, maybe even taking it diving.
