Ares Watches
I’m kind of partial to the pic of me and the other bearded dudes dressed up as Wonder Woman. Where’s that pic at?
Re: Ares Watches
Wow, Erik seems to have a hard on for ruining Graham’s name- still waiting for his facts here on this thread. Amazing. It’s almost if Graham may have finger banged his wife in the past? Was it an accident? I need to know the full story .

Anyway... Matt this is awesome, can’t wait to see it on the wrist. Thanks for the updateGrahamcombat wrote:Yep, I do.
All watch components will be on hand by Monday and we can start working on assembly and then QC and testing.
On or around the 11th we’ll be done cutting the US-made casebacks, which I didn’t think I would get to on this initial run but am able to do. From a design and business standpoint I would rather get the US-casebacks cut now - since I have the ability to - and ship the very first ARES watches with a great start towards total domestic manufacturing than wait until later. It’s a function of the best thing we can do with the resources we have. It also continues to differentiate us as a manufacturer and a brand and not a hobby.
That puts us on track to finish assembly and start shipping & delivering watches around the 20th, which is only a 48-hour shift in a span of 7 months. I’m really happy with that.
So, there we are.

Hey Matt does not really need to be spoken for here i hope. I assure you because i know for a first hand,at source, fact as does Paul from NSW (deepcdvr) and another highly respected and long term member here and all around badass DocW that Matt is the real deal. Fuckin keyboard commandos should head back to WUS. DWC has more genuine action guys than any forum out there.

Re: Ares Watches
I just read this thread for the first time - fkn ridiculous that anyone would question Matt’s bona fides... and either way, who gives a sht anyway? This is a watch site - don’t want to buy a watch from Matt? I have a great solution...
With respect to what Matt did/does for a living? I know first hand he’s the real deal, but if someone doesn’t believe him or thinks his product sucks, same answer to the question above.

Finally read through this. Just Wow- Mr. Eric Clapwhoever sure has a stick lodged firmly in his ass. Glad that our crew stuck up for one of our own. Especially those of us who know his background is legit.

I like this one a lot. I was a little worried about the longish lugs after seeing some pics, but in reality it’s just fine. Well done.
